Firewood

Our seasoned firewood is produced and kept in our purpose made building to ensure high quality dry firewood for your fire.

The firewood consists of a mixture of hardwoods such as Oak, Ash, Beech and Birch from local FSC sources.

Available in bulk bags* as shown (containing approximately 1 cubic metre of loose filled logs) or by pickup tipper load (approximately 2 cubic metre loose filled logs).

Above prices include a £5 refundable bag deposit.

10 inch (25cm)* seasoned logs are packed in a green net bag. The logs have an average moisture content of 25%. Each bag weighs about 12 kilos.

Our green firewood is freshly cut and is a great mix of hardwoods such as Oak, Ash, Beech and Birch from local FSC sources.

This is the most economical method of buying your firewood. However, it is not ready to burn and must be seasoned in a well ventilated area such as a log store for at least a year to get the moisture content to less than 25% which is required for most stoves.

Available by pickup tipper load as shown (approximately 2 cubic metre loose filled logs).

They take pride in saying their carbon neutral wood fuel comes from sustainable, well managed British woodland and they use special biomass kilns to dry the firewood using their left over wood cuttings!

10 inch (25cm)* logs are packed in an attractive recyclable polythene bag for easy and clean handling. The logs have an average moisture content of 20% to give a clean burn with the maximum heat output. Each bag weighs about 10 kilos.
