The Ozpig, which resembles a small pig on legs, has a specially designed chimney and is used with the door in an open position to provide the enjoyment and ambience of a contained fuel efficient, open fire. In recent years the developers’ passion for cooking kicked in and the unit has been further developed to double as a multi purpose cooking station to further complement the original heating function.

The  Ozpig Oven Smoker is the perfect companion designed to be used in conjunction with the Ozpig – the Oven Smoker is capable of maintaining stable temperatures for low and slow cooking and smoking (Great for American Style BBQ). Temperatures can be dialled up for roasting meats and vegetables all the way through-to much higher heats for cooking wood fired pizzas, giving it true versatility.

Smokey Olive Wood Almond Smoking Chips

Made from selected almond wood. Strong smoke intensity. Enhances food with the typical, fine, mild, sweetish, nutty flavour of almond wood smoke. Grain size: 2 -3 cm

Ideal for use with all common grills, BBQs and smokers.

Suitable for pork, poultry, beef & lamb

Best Use:

  • Soak a handful Smokey Olive Wood Almond Wood Chips in fresh water for 30 minutes
  • Wrap the Smokey Olive Wood Almond Wood Chips in a piece of aluminium foil, leaving both ends open
  • Place the aluminium foil with the Smokey Olive Wood Almond Wood Chips on your hot charcoal, lava rocks, or the electric heating of your BBQ, grill or smoker
  • Once the Almond Wood Chips start emitting smoke, place your grill goods on the grill

Get authentic wood fired flavours for steak and other meats. The enamel coated cast iron is easy to clean and the drip tray prevents any fats dripping onto the Ozpig.
