Topstak’s BBQ Fest Sizzles with Food, Fun, and Fundraising for Wales Air Ambulance

Cowbridge, May 17 – Glorious sunshine, gourmet grilling, and generous giving came together at Topstak’s annual BBQ Fest on Saturday, 17th May. Held at their Cowbridge showroom, the event welcomed foodies, families, and outdoor living enthusiasts for a fun-filled open day — all while raising vital funds for Wales Air Ambulance.

One of the days highlights was a raffle prize draw worth over £1,000, with all proceeds going to support the life-saving work of Wales Air Ambulance. Thanks to the incredible support from attendees, Topstak raised a total of £623 for the charity.

“We’re incredibly proud to support Wales Air Ambulance this year,” said a Topstak spokesperson. “The raffle was a great success, and we’re grateful to everyone who took part. It’s fantastic to see our community come together not only to enjoy great food and inspiration for their gardens, but to give back to such a vital cause.”

BBQ Fest offered something for everyone, featuring live cooking demonstrations from top brands Big Green Egg, Gozney, Traeger,  OFYR, Ozpig, and Pit Barrel. Experts grilled, smoked, seared, and baked everything from wood-fired pizzas to firepit feasts — sharing tips, techniques, and tasters with the crowd.

Visitors also had the chance to explore Topstak’s extensive outdoor living range — including BBQs, firepits, pizza ovens & chimeneas — with exclusive offers and personalised advice available throughout the day. The relaxed, family-friendly vibe was complete with music, refreshments, and great food!

Beyond the food and festivities, the true spirit of BBQ Fest lay in community — bringing people together to celebrate outdoor living and raise money for an essential emergency service.
