Features of a Schiedel Tecnoflex Liner

Schiedel’s flexible flue liners are made using corrosion-resistant 316L stainless steel, and are constructed to have a corrugated outer skin and an extra smooth inner skin. Where the outer skin and engineered joint design ensures you receive a durable and strong flue liner, the inner skin allows for condensates and soot to easily be released from your chimney.

Available in a range of diameters from 80mm to 300mm, Topstak stocks a Schiedel flue liner to fit every size of existing chimney.

Tecnoflex Installation Process

Before you have your Tecnoflex liner installed, Schiedel recommends a few initial tests and procedures be carried out on your existing chimney, to guarantee your receive a smooth installation process.

If you suspect your chimney is damaged, we would first suggest you have the flue liner inspected and assessed by a HETAS approved engineer. Once the decision is made to replace your existing flue liner, your chimney will need to be cleaned so that the installation isn’t disrupted by excess soot or blockages.  Once this step has been completed, your selected flue liner will be ready for installation.  Talk to our team to find out more about the installation process.
