Introducing the Ironwood Stove

What is the Ironwood Stove?

Are you on the lookout for a new woodburning stove? If so, then you’re in luck.

Over the past year, we have been busy listening to what our customers want from a woodburning stove. From a sleek design to a sustainable burn, we took note of everything our customers deemed a necessity. Using this knowledge, we were able to design a woodburning stove that would meet your every need.

Ironwood Stoves have been designed with you in mind. With a metallic black exterior and customisable handles, the Ironwood stove will make a sophisticated addition to any style of home.

What makes the Ironwood Stove different?

When designing the Ironwood stove, we felt that it was important to keep production as local as possible. This would not only allow us to reduce transport emissions, but give back to the surrounding communities. From this, every element of Ironwood Stoves was produced right here in South Wales. The steel was sourced from Port Talbot, the manufacturing took place in Bridgend and the assembly was finished at Topstak.

Inspired by our surroundings, we even decided to name our first stove the Ironwood Thaw 5kw Wide, after the River Thaw that runs through the local market town of Cowbridge and close to the Topstak showroom.

What are the benefits of the Ironwood Stove?

Apart from being carefully designed and locally produced, the Ironwood Stove has a number of other benefits.

It’s efficient

Efficiency was one of our top priorities when creating the Ironwood stove. Using clean burn technology, we were able to produce a woodburning stove with an impressive 80.3% efficiency rating. This resulted in the Ironwood stove being awarded the ClearSkies Level 5, which is the highest possible efficiency rating of this kind. Having also passed the EcoDesign Ready requirements, you can light your Ironwood stove with confidence that it is having a minimal impact on the environment.

It’s clean burning

Ensuring the Ironwood stove complied with the Clean Air Act was a necessity. As a Defra approved stove, the Ironwood stove produces a minimal amount of smoke. This means it is perfectly safe to use,  whether you live in the countryside or in a residential area.

It’s easy to maintain

We wanted to build a woodburning stove that was easy to maintain and wouldn’t cause you any hassle. By using superheated airwash technology, the Ironwood stove produces an incredibly clean burn. This means the large glass window will remain clear and allow you to enjoy the view of the flames uninterrupted. On top of this, the one-piece stainless-steel baffle plate makes it easy for you to keep your stove clean.
